Superfoods have been classified as “superfoods” because they are loaded with health-promoting nutrients, antioxidants and phytochemicals (disease-fighting chemicals found in plants).

Adaptogens are foods or ingredients that help your body adapt to stress or change. So, if you’re stressed, these herbs help bring you back down to a calm level. If you’re exhausted, they’ll help give you a boost. Adaptogens date back to Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. They are not new, incredibly ancient in fact, they are just only more recently being recognized for their powerful abilities.

Antioxidants are chemical compounds that prevent aging and chronic diseases due to their ability to counteract oxidative stress and the effects of free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that are produced naturally as your body performs its everyday functions, like breathing, OR from external factors like pollution, radiation, UV-rays, cigarette smoke, alcohol and excessive stress. Free radicals can damage collagen causing skin dryness, fine lines, wrinkles and premature ageing but worse, when free radicals get out of balance and accumulate (called oxidative stress) they can damage cell structures which can result in the development of illnesses like cancer, autoimmune disorders, heart disease and Alzheimer’s disease.

A delicious thickener with a natural sweetness. Coconut supports the thyroid, balances blood sugar, boosts metabolism and helps to eliminate toxins. It improves digestion and the absorption of vitamins and amino acids, calcium and magnesium.

Tocos – Skin Hydrator. Inflammation Soother. Detoxifier.

Tocotrienols, sometimes referred to as tocos, are a rich source of fat-soluble, bio-available vitamins D and E and antioxidants. It supports healthy skin and connective tissue, tames inflammation, supports the immune system and removes toxins from the brain, liver, heart, lungs and kidneys. It is a sweet powder, derived from the bran of organically grown brown rice, that brings a delicious flavor and creaminess to anything it’s added to.

Cayenne Pepper – Antifungal. Detoxifier.

A type of chilli pepper, cayenne is a metabolic stimulator, detoxifier and circulatory activator. It heats the body, helps removes toxins from the blood and system, nourishes the heart and strengthens overall health.

Stevia – Zero-Glycemic Sweetener.

Made from the leaf of the stevia herb, stevia is up to 300 times as sweet as sugar but does not cause blood sugar levels to rise. It has been used for centuries in South America to help with diabetics and hypoglycemics. We use the unprocessed green powder to ensure no chemically refined ingredients have been added to the powder.

Himalayan Pink Salt – Electrolyte Balancer. Regulator.

Himalayan Pink Salt is raw and organic and is the highest grade of mineral pink salt. It serves as an electrolyte balancing fluid inside and outside the body. It supports the nervous system, helps to regulate blood pressure, aids in digestion and regulating pH and supports hormone, heart and muscle function.

Black Pepper – Antibacterial. Anti-Inflammatory. Warming. Nourishing.

A warming spice that boosts the immune system, nourishes the kidneys and aids in digestion. It also enhances nutrient absorption and bioavailability of turmeric.

For a Hot Latte

Add 2 tbsp of the blend to a mug or blender and mix with 8-12 ounces of hot water or milk of choice.

For a Cold Latte

Add 2 tbsp of the blend to a mug or blender and mix with 8-12 ounces of cold water or milk of choice. Serve over ice.

For a Boosted Latte

Add 2 tbsp of the blend, 8-12 ounces of hot water, 1 tbsp of coconut oil or MCT oil, 1 tbsp of ghee or grass-fed butter, 1 tablespoon of collagen powder (optional) to a blender. Blend for a few seconds to incorporate all ingredients.

TIP —If not using a blender, be sure to whisk thoroughly or use a frother to get a creamy drink with a nice layer of foam on top.
